Welcome Back to My Students:
Kennedy High School is a role model of school reform in our district. In a 4x4 block schedule, we will be frequently in the experimental mode, both students and teacher. I want to engage you in a variety of differentiated learning activities through this block term in order to increase you knowledge and skills in academic subjects. Please be aware that the schedule is tentative and subject to change. My purpose is to help you have a successful school term. Please remember that my door is always open to work with you and your parents to make sure you get a great education here at J.F. Kennedy High School!

Special Note:
As a class, I hope that we will be engaged in a special service learning project this term. Our class will decide the nature of the project within the first few weeks of class. We will also be taking at least one field trip. The date will be announced.

Your senior year is your culminating experience in high school, and I encourage you to make the most of it in terms of personal, academic, and social development. My purpose is to help you have a successful school year and counsel you for continuing your education and personal growth. Please remember that I’d love to talk with you about your future plans and the important decisions you are making this year and/or problems you are experiencing.
