SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY “OPEN UNIVERSITY” SUMMER PROGRAM 

Summer courses through Open University at San Francisco State University can give high school seniors a head start on earning credit toward their college degrees.  Students who have completed their junior year of high school can register for courses.  www.cel.sfsu.edu  

WILLAMETTE, THE FIRST UNIVERSITY IN THE WEST, COLLEGE 101

STANFORD UNIVERSITY HIGH school SUMMER COLLEGE

 BOSTON UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL HONORS AND SUMMER CHALLENGE programs 

High School Honors is a six-week residential program in which students can either take two Boston University undergraduate courses, earning up to eight credits, or conduct scientific research un the guidance of a faculty mentor.  Participants must be entering their senior year.  Summer Challenge is a two-week residential program for students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior.   California State Summer School for Mathematics & Science (COSMOS) 

We have begun to accept applications for The California State Summer School for Mathematics & Science (COSMOS).  COSMOS is a four-week summer residential program at four UC campuses (Davis, Irvine, San Diego and Santa Cruz) for exceptional students who are completing grades 8-12.  COSMOS course clusters address topics not traditionally taught in high schools (i.e. astronomy, ocean science, robotics, engineering, biomedical sciences, earth sciences, advanced mathematics and more).  Students run laboratory experiments, do field work, and attend lectures given by UC faculty.  Class sizes are small, between 16-20 students, offering each student a rich intellectual experience.
