Course: Scholarships
The Scholarship List is updated as new scholarships arrive here at Kennedy High. Many of the scholarships are for seniors, but some are for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors as well.
There are five scholarships exclusive to Kennedy High students:
1. The Durham Elementary School Scholarships: If you graduated from the sixth grade at Durham Elementary School, a former principal, Mrs. Harrington, has set up a $1,000 scholarship. Multiply scholarships are given.
2. The Wieckowski Family Scholarships:The Wieckowski family graduated seven students from Kennedy who are very successful. Bob Wieckowski is now (2008) vice-mayor of Fremont. They have set up a fund to give students a scholarship of $1,500. Multiple scholarships are given.
3. The Kennedy PTSA Scholarships:Student must be a member of the Kennedy PTSA. Four scholarships of $500 are given yearly
4. The Kennedy Booster Club Scholarships:Student must be a member of the Kennedy Booster Club. Four scholarships of $500 are given yearly.
5. The Kennedy Recycling Scholarship:Students must be members of the Kennedy Recycling Club.
